One South Carolina woman thought she was simply accepting a second date from a charming man. However, that seemingly harmless second date became something she’ll never forget. What began as a charming evening with a man she thought she knew soon twisted into a chilling encounter that left her shaken to her core.

When Mikayla met her Charleston, South Carolina match, everything appeared ideal. He checked all the squares. He was polite, attentive, and confident without being pushy. Their first date went smoothly. An enjoyable night with dinner, laughter, and not a single red flag in sight. He talked about family, work, and future goals. To her, he seemed like the kind of guy who finally broke the streak of disappointing dates.

But before their second meeting, something about his behavior began to change. According to @mikaylacapps, TikTok things became very concerning. So much so that she is now issuing a frightening warning to other women in South Carolina.

She reveals that his messages turned persistent. Almost demanding. When she hesitated about their next date, he insisted on a specific time and place. Against her better judgment, she agreed, convincing herself he was simply enthusiastic.

The moment she arrived, things felt different. He greeted her with compliments that never seemed to end. He was constantly repeating the same line again and again in a way that felt more unsettling than flattering. Still, she tried to shake off her nerves and go through with the evening.

The Horrifying Truth Comes Out

Once they sat down at the restaurant, his mask began to slip. He drank heavily, bragged about his wealth, and made vulgar comments that shattered the illusion of the polite man she’d met before. When she said she was ready to leave, she realized she’d left her car keys back at his house. Reluctantly, she agreed to go back with him to retrieve them. It quickly became a decision she’d soon regret.

Back at his house, the night turned from strange to terrifying. Without warning, he grabbed her hand and bit her finger. Hard enough to leave her stunned. When she demanded to know what was wrong with him, he denied it had ever happened, twisting the situation to make her question her own memory. Then came his confession. A revelation that froze her in place. He admitted to having been charged with rape in the past.

Her instincts screamed to leave. As she tried to go, he grabbed her arm, pleading and rambling about how she was the reason he hadn’t ended his life days before. His mood swung wildly from emotional to aggressive. Fearing for her safety, she managed to pull free. She ran to her car and drove away as fast as she could through the quiet South Carolina streets.

Once she was safe at home, Mikayla revealed she couldn’t shake the encounter. Wanting to warn others, she posted about the experience in a local Charleston Facebook group for women. The responses flooded in, and that’s when the true scope of the situation hit her.

This man gives me straight up murder vibes,” one commenter writes.

“You stuck around wayyyyy too long,” another adds.

He wanted you to be scared…he was getting off on seeing your reaction(s)” one more says..

Chilling Warning for Women Everywhere

Other women recognized the man immediately. Messages, screenshots, and records surfaced, revealing he had multiple criminal charges, including sexual assault and battery. Locals had already nicknamed him “The Ted Bundy of Charleston.” Somehow, he’d managed to avoid serious consequences, continuing to meet unsuspecting women around South Carolina.

Mikayla’s story is a frightening reminder that danger doesn’t always look dangerous. It can be disguised as confidence, charm, and perfect manners. What happened on that second date has become a local warning across South Carolina. A call for women to trust their intuition and stay alert in a world where appearances can deceive.
