Road rage is a serious problem around the United States. There are countless videos on almost every social media platform showing a road rage incident, and this recently posted TikTok video is no different. The clip has around 43K likes, and 454K views as an Illinois man follows two teens home after they allegedly cut him off in traffic. What comes next is an altercation between the man and one of the teens, as TikTok users can’t get enough of the drama.
Sadly, the TikTok video begins without a lot of proper context. However, there is some text on the screen that sets the stage. The text reads, “Throwback to when Sophia cut someone off and they followed her and Sam home.” After following the kids home, the angry Illinois man then jumps out of his vehicle and starts yelling at one of the teens. He then threatens him, as well as attempting to scold the boy, even though it seems he was not the one driving the car that cut the man off. The boy then begins to make fun of the man’s car for not being very nice-looking. Although the guy takes great offense to this, as he says, “That’s my mom’s car,” in an angry tone.

The TikTok comment section seemingly found this part hilarious, as many would flood the video to leave behind their own thoughts and jokes regarding the altercation. “Why does this never happen to me?” asked one. “I’m guessing the older guy won the fight because it cuts off?” joked another. One other person pointed out, “Not only did nobody call the police, but you drove to your house knowing he was following you.”
As the TikTok video continues, the Illinois man gets into the face of the teen boy as the kid asks him, “What are you gonna do?” Sadly, the video cuts off after this; however, just before that, it seems as though the angry man was about to push the teen boy. Although it seems as though viewers won’t know what happens, as there is no part two to this video.
This kind of behavior is never okay, especially from an adult. Luckily, these Illinois teens were not harmed amid this altercation, as this guy seemed a little off the rails. Hopefully, this man learned an important lesson following this, and he will work on his anger issues for the future.
