Working in the retail or service industry may seem like an easy job at first, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. There are countless videos online that depict those lines of work as complete nightmares. Take this recently posted TikTok video as a prime example. The clip has around 309K likes and 2.1 million views as a young Tennessee woman confronts an angry Pizza Hut Karen. Social media users seemingly can’t get enough of the drama as this video continues to go viral.
Unfortunately, the TikTok video would start off with the drama already taking place. However, with that behind said, the person recording still gets most of the action on-camera. Viewers can see an elderly Tennessee woman standing at the front counter of the Pizza Hut, and she is obviously complaining about something to the staff, as she looks very unhappy. Suddenly, another woman’s voice can be heard saying, “And you’re still running your mouth,” in an annoyed tone. This prompts the older woman to turn and tell her to “Shut up!”
TikTok Praises Tennessee Woman For Stepping In Amid Karen Encounter
As the TikTok goes on, the older woman comes storming over to confront the younger woman. They then meet face to face as the altercation continues to intensify. What follows is a flurry of curse words and insults, and at one point, the younger woman tells the Pizza Hut Karen to “Take your a– to Little Caesars!” However, it is pretty obvious that the older woman is not looking for a physical altercation, despite all her talk.
Unsurprisingly, the TikTok comment section was up in arms after this, as many would rush to leave behind their own thoughts and opinions regarding the matter at hand. “As a service worker, THANK YOUUU for standing up for the workers,” wrote one. Another said, “Yass queen, thank you for standing up for the worker.” One more stated, “This is my first impression, and I LOVE you!” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “I’m never at the right place at the right time.“
Sadly, the TikTok video would come to an end following a few more insults being exchanged between the two Tennessee women. At the end of the day, it is not very hard to just be nice to one another, especially when those people are in charge of making the food you eat. Hopefully, this old lady learned a lot from this encounter and will be better next time.
