The car wash is a fantastic place to get your vehicle clean in a quick and convenient manner. However, just because something is considered easy doesn’t mean disaster can’t strike at any time. Now, with that being said, this recently posted TikTok video is the perfect example of that very scenario. The clip has around 365K likes and 4.9 million views as this Missouri driver leaves their car’s back hatch open while going through the car wash.
The TikTok video starts off with the couple recording, sitting in their vehicle, waiting in line at the car wash. However, the person in front of them is about to have a really “Bad day,” as they have left the back of their own car open while entering the car wash. One of the machines in the wash can be seen slamming against the car’s open hatch as the man can be heard saying, “Oh, it’s hitting it! Oh, it smoked it!” To make things even worse, the back of this Missouri driver’s car is loaded down with bags of groceries that are just getting soaked.
TikTok Pokes Fun At Clueless Missouri Driver Amid Car Wash Chaos
The TikTok comment section had a lot to say about this situation, unsurprisingly. Many would rush to leave behind their own thoughts and opinions regarding the matter at hand. “I’ve officially reached the age where I no longer find the humor in someone else’s misfortune,” wrote one. Another joked, “Personally, I wouldn’t open my tailgate in the car wash.” Someone else then asked, “Why are the hazards on?” Somebody also pointed out, “There are no tracks! She could’ve pulled forward!” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “To be fair, anyone who bought that many groceries and decided the best next stop is the carwash has their priorities mixed up.”
As the TikTok video continues, things go from bad to worse yet again for the Missouri driver as the water turns on and absolutely smokes the inside of their car, as well as all of their groceries. As this happens, the people recording can be heard dying of laughter as the man states, “It gets worse!”
With the TikTok video coming to an end, the person in the car finally decides that they have had enough and drives off. However, they probably should have done it that way sooner than they did. Hopefully, they were not injured during this Missouri car wash situation, and next time they will probably make sure everything is shut off before entering the car wash.
