Howard Stern claims that Heather Locklear’s mental breakdown is all her former husband’s faults. Stern stated on a recent segment of his SiriusXM Satellite Radio show that being married to these two men “drove her insane” according to Radar Online reports.

Stern reveals he and Heather go way back and that he is very fond of the “Melrose Place” star. However, he totally believes that Locklear’s mental issues are a result of being married to the former Bon Jovi guitarist, Richie Sambora, and Motley Crue drummer, Tommy Lee. The radio host reveals that being married to either of these guys would be more than enough for Heather Locklear to deal with, but being married to both made her “insane.”

Both, Richie Sambora and Tommy Lee have led a wild and crazy Rock N’ Roll lifestyle.  Both, have also battled drug and alcohol addictions that found each of them in rehab. However, in all fairness to Sambora and Lee, Heather Locklear’s issues did not publicly surface until 2008, two years after divorcing Richie Sambora, and more than a decade after her marriage to Tommy Lee.

So, placing blame on either of them is a bit of a reach, but not totally out of the question considering their personal issues. As reported by Blasting Pop, Heather Locklear was hospitalized on Sunday evening following a violent altercation with her mother and father. Locklear’s parents claim that their daughter was highly agitated all day.

It was also reported that earlier in the day Heather had been fighting with fiance Chris Heisser and that she had reportedly become violent with him striking him in the face. Heather Locklear’s parents became increasingly worried about their 56-year-old daughter upsetting behavior and went to her Thousand Oaks mansion to check on her.

When they arrived Heather became argumentative and violent, choking her mother and hitting her father. Locklear also threatened to find a gun and shoot herself. When her mom finally freed herself from Heather’s grasp she made a 911 call for help. Emergency squads arrived on the scene and determined Heather needed professional aid.

She was transported to a nearby facility for psychiatric evaluation.  At this time Heather Locklear remains hospitalized and under medical care.
