The price of rent is sky-high in the United States of America, and it only continues to go up and up as time goes on. That’s why, for the most part, most people who rent houses or apartments have roommates living with them, so they can split the costs. Although while this sounds like a good idea in theory, it doesn’t always turn out as you planned. Take this recently posted TikTok, for example. The clip has around 726K likes and 8.1 million views, as this Arizona woman set up a hidden camera to catch her roommate stealing from her bedroom.
The TikTok video begins with a view of the woman’s bedroom, as the door is shut, and she appears not to be home. However, shortly after the clip begins, the door to the room swings open. Yet, it’s not the camera’s owner who walks in, it’s her roommate. The young Arizona woman can be seen walking around the bedrooms a little. However, it seems as though she had a plan in mind before she entered. She then heads over to a drawer and opens it to reveal some kind of small object. Finally, she would stuff it into her sweatshirt pocket and make her escape, leaving the door open behind her.
TikTok Reacts To Arizona Woman’s Nosey Roommate
Unsurprisingly, the TikTok comment section had a lot to say about this. Many would rush to the clip in order to leave behind their own thoughts and opinions regarding the matter. One person wanted to know, “What did she take?” Another said, “Why did she know exactly where it was? That’s so weird.”
Someone else also pointed out, “It never crosses my mind to go into my roommate’s room; that’s so disrespectful and disturbing.” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “Living with other people is a nightmare, truly.” It would seem as though many users are not happy with this woman’s roommate, and rightfully so.
Unfortunately, the TikTok video would come to an end following this, but at least this woman now has proof that her roommate is taking things from her bedroom. At the end of the day, this is a total invasion of privacy by this Arizona woman’s roommate. Hopefully, she was able to confront her about it in a mature way, and they got everything sorted out. However, maybe it’s time to start looking for some new roommates, though.
