TikTok has countless videos of public altercations, most unfortunately, regarding race. With that being said, this recently posted video is no different. The clip has around 7K likes and 57K views as this Florida man calls out a racist restaurant customer. The man allegedly had a lot to say regarding a group of teens inside the establishment, as the man recording just did not let that slide one bit. The comment section was also backing him, as many were upset.
The TikTok starts off with the young man recording himself eating inside some kind of fast food restaurant. The text on the screen also reads, “My patience is very thin. He called two mixed kids animals.” The man then sets his phone up to record as an older white man can be seen leaning on a rail behind him. The Florida man recording then tells the elderly man not to say that because he knows “There is a race thing going on here.” He then warns him not to say “Animals,” as he “Doesn’t want to hear it.” The older man then states that this is “Ridiculous.”

However, the TikTok comment section found the old man’s behavior ridiculous, as many would flood the video to leave behind their own thoughts on the matter. “I’m sick of this nonsense,” wrote one. “Thank you for protecting those kids,” said another. “They’ve been getting way too comfortable lately,” another commenter pointed out. One other person also wrote, “You did the right thing, and the fact that you stayed calm is even better. You have inspired me.” Finally, one last comment read, “He definitely didn’t have that energy with you! He got really humble.” It would appear that most, if not all the comments are pretty happy with how this man handled the situation.
As the TikTok video continues, the Florida man cuts the clip. When we see him again, he is inside his vehicle, as he speaks on the situation that had just occurred. The man opens up regarding his frustration with the current state of the country, as well as other things, in a very calm and well-spoken manner.
Thankfully, this Florida man was in that restaurant to confront this racist. However, no one else ever has to endure that kind of blatant hate ever again. That was disgusting behavior from the older man, and it is completely unacceptable. This man did a fantastic job handling this unfortunate encounter.
