Public freak-out videos are one of, if not the most popular thing on the internet. Countless social media platforms have thousands of clips that fit that description perfectly. Take this recently posted TikTok video, for example. The clip has around 4K likes and 53K views as this Florida man stands up to a late-night Karen, as she is extremely rude to a store employee. Social media users seemingly can’t get enough of the drama as this video continues to trend towards viral status.
The TikTok starts off with the man pulling out his phone to record an already ongoing altercation between an elderly woman and an employee of whatever store they are in. The employee can then be heard asking the woman, “Are you all right?” The Florida woman replies right away by saying, “No, I’m not all right,” as she is clearly upset about something. The woman then does her best internet Karen impression as she starts being extremely rude to the employee for seemingly no reason. She states that she has an “Issue” with the employee’s “Condescending tone,” despite the man being very polite throughout the encounter. However, it would not be long before the man recording steps in to assist the employee.
TikTok Reacts To Florida Karen’s Crash Out
The TikTok comment section was not about to let this slide either, as they were up in arms following the encounter. Many would then flood the video to leave behind their own thoughts on the matter. “Some people are only happy when they’re unhappy,” one person pointed out. “Man, thank you for saying something,” wrote another. “This is why I hate leaving the house,” stated one more. Another comment read, “I’m on the employee’s side!” Finally, one other person’s comment read, “As someone who’s been in this situation too many times, thank you for actually speaking up and helping.”
As the TikTok continues, the Florida man recording steps in to help the store employee, as this woman is really laying into him. Although he does throw in some vulgar language aimed at the Karen, while he does so. However, with that being said, sometimes these kinds of situations call for something like that.
At the end of the day, at least nobody was hurt. However, this angry Florida woman really needs to work on her people skills. As for the store employee, he handled the situation perfectly and with the utmost respect for the customer. Luckily, he also had the guy recording to back him up a little bit when he needed it.
