Olivia Newton-John is reportedly tying up loose ends and saying her goodbyes to family and friends as she continues to fight off her losing battle with cancer according to Radar Online reports.
As previously reported, Olivia Newton-John has had to face some very hard times as far as her health is concerned and things are not looking too promising for the 70-year-old “Grease” star.
In August, reports that Olivia’s deadly cancer had resurfaced spreading into the bones of her lower back. Sources close to Olivia allegedly spoke with RO revealing that things are pretty grim at this time for the singer.
“It’s the beginning of the end for Olivia,” said a source. “This is her final fight and she promises to go out swinging. At this point, her goal is to make it to her 70th birthday on Sept. 26th and have a big celebration.”
Sadly, Newton-John has now accepted her fate and has begun to tie up loose ends in her relationships with those whom she cares about. Olivia has even allegedly asked to see her former lover Cameraman Patrick McDermott.
McDermott was presumed dead after vanishing on a fishing trip to Mexico in June 2005, only days after splitting with Olivia leaving the “Grease” star mourning his “death” for more than a decade.
“At this point, Olivia doesn’t care what Patrick did or why he did it. She would just like to know that he’s all right.”
Olivia also would love to see her daughter Chloe Lattanzi settled and happy in life and married to her fiance. Unfortunately,Lattanzi and Newton-John’s relationship has not always been a smooth one.
In 2014, Olivia was forced to set up an intervention for her troubled daughter, who continued to struggle with addiction and eating disorders throughout her life.Fortunately, the concerned mom was able to convince her daughter to return to rehab, get healthy, and the two have patched up their relationship, enjoying their together with minimal family squabbles for the past few years.
It is just so sad that now that they are in a good place in their relationship that Olivia Newton-John’s cancer has returned with a vengeance. It is never easy to deal with such a tragic health tragedy such as cancer, for anyone.
Family, friends, and fans hope that Olivia Newton-John can now find peace and comfort in her final days. Our thoughts and prayers remain with Olivia and her family during this difficult time.
