Boy band NKOTB scores TV Guide reality series

New Kids on the Block members will be making their reality television debut sometime in 2014 with the groups latest endeavor for the TV Guide Channel.

The TV Guide network announced yesterday that the New Kids on the Block pop singers are currently filming the new reality series, which will be set on a cruise ship that will titled “Rock This Boat: NKOTB.”

The series will be an eight episode series that will follow the NKOTB members during what is described as a week- long “vacation of the lifetime” where the boy band gets to party and interact with fans.

The band consists of brothers Jordan and Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, and Danny Wood. New Kids on the Block enjoyed success in the late 1980s and early 1990s and have sold 80 million records worldwide and is best known for their hit single Step By Step.

NKOTB 2014 tour news

In February, 2014 the band announced their European Tour 2014. It is scheduled to take place in May/June 2014.

There has been no official word yet, just as to when New Kids on the Block fans can expect the reality series to premiere.
