Mama June Shannon Indictment May Save Her Life

Mama June Shannon has been indicted on felony drug possession charges. The grand jury handed down the indictment earlier today stemming from the reality star’s arrest earlier this year according to TMZ.

It has been a downhill run for Mama June Shannon in 2019. This recent bout of bad news stems from the “From Not To Hot” star relates to her arrest at an Alabama gas station for possession of crack cocaine and a glass pipe.

Shannon’s current boyfriend Geno Doak was also arrested at the same time on drug-related charges and domestic violence. June was due in the Alabama courthouse today, however, was a no show.

TMZ states that June’s sister was outside the courthouse today with a camera crew, allegedly hoping to stage yet another intervention for her troubled sister.

As previously reported, Mama June‘s life has been a complete mess since her arrest. The reality star was spotted back in mid-August in Hampton, Georgia leaving a Mexican restaurant looking disheveled and appearing out of sorts.

Photographers snapped photos of Mama June Shannon and Geno walking in the parking lot. June, walking behind Geno, appeared to have trouble a lot of trouble keeping her eyes opened.

Mama June Shannon’s daughters Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson and Pumpkin are very concerned that June will continue her dark and dangerous downward spiral unless she gets help soon.

Honey Boo Boo remains in the custody of her older sister Pumpkin and refuses to return home with Mama June until she heads to rehab and proves she is clean and sober.

June’s downward spiral continued, on August 15, she and Geno held an online garage sale selling off all of her household possessions. Those who contacted June to purchase her things claimed that the house was very dirty, and some claim they saw what appeared to be needles tossed about the clutter in one of the bedrooms.

Despite a failed intervention, there could be one ray of hope to grasp onto for Mama June Shannon and her family. Should June be found guilty the judge could sentence her to jail and or rehab.

This could be the one thing that saves Mama June Shannon from facing complete devastation and reunites her with her family once and for all.
She’s scheduled to be in court later this month.
