So what is the problem brewing within the KarJenner walls? Insiders close to the famous family say Kim Kardashian has reportedly come to a new life-changing decision. It seems that her latest life plans may no longer include reality television.
According to Globe sources, Kim has reached the breaking point with her packed schedule. Between building her multi-billion-dollar SKIMS empire, four kids with ex-husband Kanye West, and a growing legal career, she’s running out of hours in the day. Something, she believes, has to give. And unfortunately for the family’s Hulu series, The Kardashians, it looks like that “something” may be her reality television career.
The 44-year-old reality star reportedly told those close to her that she needs to start to “scale way back” on filming. While she may not walk away completely, at first, those close to her believe it is only a matter of time. Cue the Kris Jenner freak out.
Kris Jenner knows that Kim is the family’s reality show cash cow, and without her, it will be hard to survive much longer. But Kim allegedly hopes that her sisters can step up while she prioritizes business, motherhood, and law.

While Kim insists she’s not abandoning the show outright, at least for now. Kris Jenner isn’t exactly sleeping easily. Now, with Season 7 currently in production, the thought of Kim pulling back feels like a disaster in the making.
Sources claim Kris sees Kim’s shift in focus as nothing short of a nightmare. She is worried the show could lose its biggest star power, and if that happens, they all could lose that massive Hulu paycheck. “Kris is panicking,” alleges the source. “Even though Kim is still insisting it can work, the writing’s on the wall.”
Kim’s not just trimming back for fun. In addition to motherhood, she’s fresh off graduating from her law apprenticeship program earlier this year and recently sat for the California Bar Exam. Her ambitions in social justice and law are demanding more time and energy, and she seems determined to take them seriously.
If Kim Kardashian is quietly stepping back from reality TV, that spells one thing. A massive freakout for Kris Jenner.
