The couple’s 2021 reunion dominated headlines as fans were thrilled to see “Bennifer” back together after nearly two decades apart. However, their second shot at love has been filled with rumors about possible tension in their marriage. Of course, divorce rumors are never far behind when it comes to the famous couple.
According to The Daily Mail, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck spent the end of 2023 vacationing in St Barts. During this time, JLo was spotted showing off her fit figure in stunning outfits during nights on the town. She also hit the beach on several occasions to flaunt her bikini body. However, it was the photos of her with Affleck that really had fans talking.

Over the weekend, photographers snapped the couple appearing to have a heated conversation. The photos were taken while the pair were shopping at stores in Gustavia. However, they were later seen looking happy together and even showing off some PDA.
This isn’t the first time that Lopez and Affleck have looked tense and even unhappy while in public together. Recently, JLo admitted that she and her husband suffer from some trauma thanks to their original relationship in the early 2000s. Fans may remember that the pair began dating and even got engaged. The media attention they received was astounding and eventually caused them to call off their wedding. They split shortly after. In 2021, they got back together and officially walked down the aisle in summer 2022.
“We both have PTSD,” Lopez admitted, per OK! Magazine. “But we’re older now. We’re wiser. We also know what’s important, what’s really important in life, and it’s not so much what other people think. It’s about being true to who you are,” the Maid in Manhattan star added.
Ben and Jen marriage rumors run wild
Hollywood News Daily previously reported that Lopez is allegedly been threatened by Affleck’s close relationship with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. “JLo rages when she gets jealous or feels threatened, and Ben has been on the receiving end of her wrath,” an insider previously told Life & Style. “JLo has demanded that Ben spend less time with Jen and focus more on her instead, screaming at him: ‘She’s your ex-wife for a reason!’”
Only time will tell what the future holds for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. However, the couple seem to be starting off 2024 with the same amount of marriage rumors as they ended 2023 with.
