Baker Matfield threw some gasoline on the already flammable week one matchup against his former team the Cleveland Browns. After the Carolina Panthers took down the Bills in Buffalo on Friday night with a score of 21-0

After the game, Baker Mayfield was talking to one of the sideline reporters when he went on to say this about playing the Browns in week one. ‘I’m going to F**k them up” said Mayfield.

Clearly, Mayfield has a lot of hard feelings about his less-than-productive time in Cleveland. This Statement came after Browns Super-star Defensive End Myles Garrett stated that there is no hard feeling towards his former Quarterback and that he is going to approach week one just like any other game.

Baker Mayfield is upset with the Browns

“You ran into Baker Mayfield, the former Browns quarterback, recently,” Hanzus said. “I was hoping you could share an exchange that you had.” I walked up to him and said, ‘I’m so excited to see you, like, go kick some butt,’ I didn’t say that word,” she said with a laugh. “… Go kick some butt, especially Week 1, I can’t wait. And he uses some expletives and I was like, ‘I just hope you’re ready.’ He was like, ‘I’m gonna bleep them up.” according to Cleveland.com

No matter how you look at that statement it is clearly unprofessional which is ironically one of the reasons Cleveland moved on from Baker Mayfield. His ill will towards the Browns organization is very understandable as Cleveland did not handle the situation very well as Baker was on his way out but this is slightly childish.

Is Myles getting ready for a monster game?

Myles is a pretty easy-going guy but one thing he most likely will not tolerate is any kind of trash talk towards himself, his team, or his city.

Could this just be an attempt from Baker Mayfield to try and stay relevant in the media? That is very possible, but we will see how things really go down on September 11th when the Browns pack it up and head to Carolina for Week 1.

How many sacks will Garrett and Clowney rack up against Baker Mayfield? Will there be a flag planted at some point? Will there be a fight? Anything could happen in this highly intense build-up to Week 1 of the NFL.
