“This Is Us” fans are about to get a big dose of “American Horror Story” fan favorite actor, Denis O’Hare.
Actor Denis O’Hare has officially joined the cast of “This Is Us.” O’Hare, who is best known for his roles in multiple seasons of “American Horror Story,” has also starred on huge shows such as “True Blood” and “The Good Wife.” The actor is now adding TV’s hottest new show to his resume.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Denis O’Hare has joined the “This Is Us” cast as a man named Jessie. Jessie is said to be a friend of Randall’s late biological father, William. The character will make his first appearance later this season. However, O’Hare isn’t the first “American Horror Story” alum to appear on “This Is Us.” Chissy Metz, who plays the lovable character of Kate on the series, was featured during “AHS” Season 4’s “Freak Show.”
Meanwhile, Denis O’Hare is showing that he’s so much more than his creepy “American Horror Story” characters. He’ll also appear in the upcoming ABC miniseries, “When We Rise,” which chronicles the gay rights movement. “This Is Us” fans will be getting even more guest stars throughout Season 1 as well. Gerald McRaney, Jon Huertas, Katy Sagal, Brad Garrett, Janet Montgomery, and another “True Blood vet, Sam Trammell, will all be popping up in upcoming episodes of the hit series.
