Peter Dinklage killed it while hosting “SNL” on Saturday night. The “Game of Thrones” star’s funniest skit came in the form of his singing…about his space theme pants.
Peter Dinklage Sings About Space Pants On ‘SNL’
That’s right, Peter Dinklage got up on stage in a metallic jacket, creepy blond wig, and space printed pants to sing a strange, yet funny song with the night’s musical guest, Gwen Stefani.
In addition to Dinklage’s “Space Pants” skit, he of course also spoofed “Game of Thrones,” the wildly popular HBO series that he appears on as Tyrion Lannister, brother to creepy sibling lovers Cersei and Jaime Lannister.
The “GoT” skit was a behind the scenes look at how the show is filmed, with an actor portraying the dragon in the series. Of course, the dragon actor was a complete pain the entire time and created many memorable moments.
Peter Dinklage Spoof’s ‘Game of Thrones,” and Winnie The Pooh on ‘SNL”
Peter Dinklage also portrayed Winnie The Pooh in a funny “SNL” skit where Pooh’s cousin, Denny, came to try to shed light on the real world to Pooh, who refused to leave the Hundred Acre Wood to go live the high life with Denny.
Gwen Stefani looked great in the “Space Pants” skit, as well as singing her two songs, “Misery” and “Make Me Like You,” which the crowd seemed to love. Although Peter (and Gwen) had a lot of great moments, it seems that “Space Pants” may be the favorite skit among fans this week on “SNL.”
