‘Walking Dead’ Lauren Cohan opens up on heartbreaking finale

The Walking Dead spoilers: Maggie is pregnant with Glenn's baby.

The ‘Walking Dead’ the AMC hit zombie apocalypse series  is set to return Sunday, February 14 with the season six second half and we have to say it sounds terrifying in many ways. There is just no way that this can be good news.

“Walking Dead” star Lauren Cohan opened up recently revealing that” The Walking Dead” season 6 finale has been her “hardest day on the set, so far.” This statement alone is enough to send chills down the spines of die hard fans. The Walking Dead’s season6 finale sounds as if it will be one of the most difficult and exciting to watch at the same time. Fans of the show and the comics have somewhat of an idea as to what to expect and it is unsettling, to say the least.

‘Walking Dead’ star Maggie (Lauren Cohan) upset by finale

Not quite over the super shock that ‘Walking Dead’ writers put us through with the Glenn situation, it is safe to say that fans are a bit untrusting when it comes to the show these days. It is all too clear that fans should brace themselves for what is to come in the next several weeks. It is predicted to be an emotional rollercoaster.

Expect major changes to mark the arrival of Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Negan. But it appears that Negan’s arrival will not come until the finale. It is all the stuff in between that is going to pull us in for heartbreak it appears.

Lauren Cohan describes the “Walking Dead’ season 6 finale heartbreak she feels.

“[Hearing] the word ‘finale’ gives me a physical reaction because it’s the hardest day on set that I’ve ever had in my life,” says Cohan. “I never even imagined that as an actor you could have that experience. It’s one of the most raw experiences that I think any of us have ever had. Andy talks about being late to work; I didn’t want to go to work that day. It took a really, really long time for everybody to feel okay again after the finale, let’s put it that way.

“It’s pretty crazy. It’s probably the most violent second half we’ve ever had. We talk about the intensity of the show a lot, but,” the actress had to stop herself before revealing too much. “Yeah, we lose some…. things, and we find some new places to be that are potentially very, very long-term. I know we’ve seen us go through a lot of huge challenges, but Alexandria seems like a good place for this group.”

Lauren Cohan is not the only cast member having a hard time with the events of Season 6. Rick Grimes star Andrew Lincoln recently shared his reaction to the upcoming season.

“I felt sick to my stomach when I read the script. It was the first day in the whole six years of working on The Walking Dead that I was late for work because I woke up in the middle of the night and I couldn’t get back to sleep. I was so angry and frustrated and I felt sick. And that was just after reading it.”

Not very reassuring is it? If the close-knit group of friends and cast members of the ‘Walking Dead’ are getting this upset by what is to come then where will that leave us when the ‘Walking Dead’ Season 6 finale does finally arrive. The same place it always leads us, counting down the days until October.
