Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams Divorce Shocker
“Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams have mutually decided to end their marriage of almost six years,” a rep for the couple said. “It is a respectful, amicable parting of ways, and both Mandy and Ryan are asking for media to respect their privacy at this time,”
Mandy,30, and Ryan, 40, have no children together. They were married in Savannah, Georgia in 2009. On Friday, Moore surprisingly filed for divorce from Adams citing irreconcilable differences at the reason for the split. She is asking for spousal support in the divorce.
Will Mandy Focus On Her Career Now?
In 2014 the couple seemed to be getting along well as Mandy Moore provided background vocals for Ryan Adams’ self-titled album. “So proud of @theryanadams on his brilliant new record. Yah, I’m biased but it’s a must-listen,” she wrote on Twitter back in September.
Just last March the couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary with a big party filled with family and friends. Perhaps, now that the pair have split, Mandy will go back to focusing on her own career as a singer and actress, as she’s been in films such as Nicholas Sparks’ “A Walk To Remember,” and “Because I Said So,” with Diane Keaton.
