‘Dancing With The Stars’ Season 20 Premiere — 3 Contestants Wow the Judges

It seems ‘DWTS’ saved the best for last, because Rumer Willis was the last contestant to dance on Monday night’s premiere, and she killed it, earning straight 8’s across the board and landing herself at the top of the week one leader board.

Rumer Willis Lands Top Spot

Both Rumer’s parents, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore were in attendance to watch their daughter dance the Foxtrot, and looked proud as they cheered her to the night’s highest scores. However, Rumer Willis wasn’t the only surprise of the night.

Riker Lynch Surprises Judges

R5 singer Riker Lynch, who revealed he’s a cousin to “Dancing With The Stars” powerhouses Julianne and Derek Hough, earned a score of 31, only one point lower than Willis. Riker, whose partner is Allison Hocker, danced his heart out and proved he will be able to keep up with the pro. However, can he control his movements during slow dances? We’ll find out next week.

Nastia Lukin Is In It To Win It

Coming in third place for the night with a score of 30 was Derek Hough and his partner Nastia Lukin. Nastia, a former Olympic gymnast is very competitive, and ready to win this competition. While all three of the top pairs were good out of the gate they’ll have to sustain their fancy footwork if they want to stay in the competition.
