“American Horror Story: Freak Show” fans immediately took to social media to comment on just how crazy and scary Twisty really was. “That clown from ‘AHS’ is so scary, I’m going to have nightmares,” one viewer commented.

“Every season I think that maybe [American Horror Story] won’t be so scary BUT THEN THEY INCLUDE A KILLER CLOWN AND THEN I CANT GO TO SLEEP,” another wrote.

Yes, Twisty the killer clown is sure to a fan favorite among the upcoming episodes of “American Horror Story: Freak Show,” which is saying something with a huge cast of characters as diverse and amazing as they are. It’s hard to keep track of everyone, but Twisty has already made a lasting impression, and the fact that he’s keeping children locked away in his creepy clown trailer in the middle of nowhere makes it all the more scary.

But there’s more! That’s right, kids. Twisty the clown will actually get a creepy apprentice. “He’s a boy who was born into great life and privilege and on the outside has it all but on the inside he feels like a freak. So he wants to be somewhere where he fits in,” says Murphy. “So when he’s not allowed to, he becomes dark and murderous. … Let it suffice to say that Dandy becomes Twisty’s apprentice,” Ryan Murphy confirmed.

Yes, it’s going to be a wild ride this season on “American Horror Story: Freak Show” and fans wouldn’t have it any other way.
