Channing Tatum is set to star as a gay man in a new romantic comedy by “Bridesmaids” director Paul Feig. This marks a new venture for Tatum, who is known as a guys’ guy and ladies man.
Channing Tatum is going gay. The hunky actor is set to star in a homosexual romantic comedy directed by “Bridesmaids” director, Paul Feig.
The movie will revolve around “SNL” newcomer, John Milhiser. Milshiser’s character will begin to date Tatum’s character, and won’t know how to deal with dating such a hottie. (Yeah, that seems like what would happen if we were dating Channing!)
The character’s insecurities will take over, and lead to a series of hilarious events, that will no doubt showcase Channing Tatum’s comedic acting skills.
Tatum has come a long way as an actor. In fact he’s proven that he can handle any genre of film. Whether he’s melting our hearts in movies like “Dear John” or “The Vow,” cracking us up in “21 Jump Street” or “She’s The Man,” or showing off his manly action skills in “G.I. Joe” or “White House Down,” we love Channing’s range. (Could a horror movie be next?)
It will be different see Channing starring opposite another man since he’s usually paired with A-list leading ladies such as Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried, and his wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, but we think we can stand to share him just this once.
What do you think about Channing Tatum starring in a gay romantic comedy movie? Will you watch it the film?
