Olympic gold medalist Shaun White’s arrest on Sunday, September 16 has been confirmed by the Nashville Metro Police Dept. TMZ reports on Monday, the celebrity news site reported that they obtained Shaun White’s mug shot which confirms the arrest and shows the gold medalist sporting a very noticeable black eye.

The story surrounding White’s arrest claims that Shaun White was very drunk, and disorderly on Sunday night at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel.

It was reported around 2 AM that he assaulted someone who was trying to stop him from fleeing after he pulled a hotel fire alarm, causing an evacuation of the entire hotel.

A hotel employee also told police White smashed a hotel phone. The Nashville police report reveals that the unknown victim claims he tried to stop Shaun White from leaving the hotel in a taxi after all the commotion, but Shaun had a different plan in mind, kicking the person, and taking off on foot.

Police reports reveal that Shaun White seemed very intoxicated and smelled strongly of alcohol at the time of his arrest.

He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was treated for minor injuries, then carted off to the local jail where he was then booked on charges of vandalism and public intoxication.

White’s most recent accomplishment include the memorable moment in history at the 2012 Winter X, when Shaun White became the first person to score a perfect 100 in the men’s Snowboard Superpipe in the history of Winter X Games.
