“Teen Mom” Amber Portwood has signed over her parental rights of daughter, Leah, to her ex-boyfriend, Gary Shirley. According to Teen Mom News, fans will see it all go down in the series finale of the hit show.
“In a heartbreaking moment on the finale, Amber will give up her parental rights to Leah permanently,” said an insider. Amber feels it’s too much pressure to raise a baby. She says, ‘I screwed up my own life enough, why screw up someone else’s worse?’”
Amber Portwood has had her share of trouble, and is currently serving a 5-year prison sentence. The “Teen Mom” has spent the past 2 years in and out of rehab, and has even tried to commit suicide.
Now, fans are hoping she’s getting the help she needs behind bars, so that when she’s released she can play a more active role in her daughter’s life.
