Okay, so ‘Rock of Ages’ wasn’t a box office smash. However, many fan favorite movies aren’t. So, here’s why you should watch the movie.

Whether you lived through the 80′s, or are just a big fan of the hair band era, ‘Rock of Ages’ delivers it all.

Big names like Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin, Russell Brand, Mary J. Blige round out the ensemble cast, and Julianne Hough shines as the female lead.

However, it was Diego Boneta’s character, Drew, who seemed to suck the audience in. As a rock and roll hopeful, Drew is one of the last good guys in Hollywood trying to make it in the business.

The characters are fun, funny, and soulful, while the movie will have you laughing, and wanting to sing along to the sounds of the 80′s.

‘Rock of Ages’ is definitely a fun 2-hour escape from reality. So, check it out if you’re in the mood for a little rock ‘n’ roll and romance.
