Barbra Streisand Health Concerns Following Scary LA Hospital Visit

Barbra Streisand, 77, fans are growing concerned for the legendary entertainer after the singer was reportedly rushed to Cedars-Sinai Hospital earlier this month according to Radar Online reports.

Family and fans fear the worse after Barbra Streisand was spotted outside the medical facility looking frail and sickly at first fearing that Babs may have suffered a heart attack.

Radar claims that Streisand looked completely ashen and afraid while Los Angeles doctors examined her leg while in the hospital lobby. According to Radar, Dr, Stuart Fischer, who has not treated Barbra stated that the singer may have been getting examined for a possible “deep vein thrombosis” and if left untreated a blood clot could break loose and travel through bloodstream possibly causing a fatal heart attack.

Deep vein thrombosis also known as (DVT) are very serious. DVT is the name for when a clot forms in one of the major veins deep inside your body. It’s most common for this to happen in one of your legs, but it can also happen in your arms, pelvis, lungs, or even your brain. … These types of blood clots kill approximately 100,000 Americans annually.

An unnamed source claims that at the time Barbra Streisand looked very stressed out, and looked as if she could collapse. Streisand has had a lot of things going on in her life lately planning her upcoming tour.

Radar also claims that Barbra Streisand has also struggled with a previous and serious eating disorder which also places her at risk for several potentially dangerous medical conditions.

One major concern listed also reveals that Barbra Streisand also has a family history of heart disease. “She looks completely stressed. People are deeply concerned for her,” noted an insider.
